I truly enjoyed the property and its wonderful breakfast.

The hotel had a very central location and it was quite close to Congreso de los Diputados.

The room was perfectly clean and with plush couches in the main hall and TV and a 5 person bedroom. The staff were super-friendly and excellent and knew how to help. The location was marvellous and incredible, you can visit Cinema Monumental by walking.

I've had nicely equipped and neat room with linoleum tiles in the hallways, a spacious bath plus a 5 person bedroom. The hotel was in a very central setting in the very center of Madrid. Greatly enjoyed this excellent stay for 2 nights.

The room we booked was fairly quiet with tv. Also, location was marvellous and incredible, at a medium distance from Paseo del Prado.

Clean hotel in a nice building really close to all tourist attractions – Sol, Museum, Plaza Mayor, Palace –, and the center of Madrid. Very central location, just a pleasant stroll away from a huge plaza. A good bar on site. A great stay for 2 nights.

The hotel was fairly clean, the staff were superfriendly and excellent. We enjoyed perfectly clean and huge room with a patio and climate control.

Favourable and incredible location just walking distance from an iconic street. Very close to a metro station and 5 minutes' walk to the downtown. Spacious bedroom. Good bathroom with a bath.

Booked guest room, that included a patio and an air conditioner. Private bathroom was clean. This lovely old fashioned and well priced hotel had very central setting close to all attractions.

Our stay at Hostal Aguilar was amazing! The location was perfect for sightseeing and shopping, being within walking distance of the famous plaza Mayor. The highlight for us was the English-speaking staff, as we've had frustrating experiences with non-English speakers in the past. The rooms were sparkling clean and even the public bathroom was always well-maintained. we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

the hostal is a short walk from the Prado and all of central Madrid

The Spanish take their weekends seriously and the noise level was very high on weekends. Uncarpeted hallways and the layout ensured maximum sound distribution. The staff didn't seem concerned about loud guests, late at night.

The staff is very pleasant and very helpful. The location of the hotel is really great! They don't have any meals but i really liked the snack and the coffee machines that you can use anytime. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to see Madrid!

The value for money at this centrally located hotel was exceptional. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff at the front desk were friendly, helpful, and even went the extra mile to make my son's birthday special.

Breakfast delights would be improved with a better coffee vending machine.

Beautifully renovated historical building. Clean modern room with cute view. Fantastic location, bus stop at front, not far from metro. Plenty of nearby cafes, bars, restaurants, and shopping. Friendly and helpful staff.
